Brokeback Changed
While not one of my best pieces, it is one dear to my heart. I drew this in Kinsman, OH, after my first viewing of Brokeback Mountain. I was struck by grief and admiration for the film, and I sketched it in my journal quickly.

A portrait of my friend Jamie. She passed away in 2016 at the age of 20, just a month shy of her 21st birthday. She loved horses, drawing, and video games. Even on her worst days, she would do her best to help others.
