About Me
The first, most important thing about me is that I love films. I started studying interactive multimedia in high school at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center. I was the Vice President of our chapter in Business Professionals of America. My video production team was in the top ten at a national competition in 2015, where we showcased our video and product to industry professionals. During this time, I also had the opportunity to participate in short film competitions, my favorite being the David Lynch PAFA short film competition. While I only received an honorable mention, I will forever be grateful that my favorite director saw something I made!
During that time, I was able to obtain my Adobe certifications over several years, thanks to TCTC and the fantastic opportunities they provide for high school students.
Due to some health complications, I had to hold off on college for a handful of years after graduating high school in 2015. I can now proudly say that I am nearing the end of my bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies, along with a minor in Fashion, through Arizona State University's online program. I am aiming to graduate in the Fall of 2026. I have met all the criteria for my major, including completing upper-division classes with high marks. I am proud to say that I have been on the dean's list for many semesters and have maintained a GPA between 3.8 and 3.9. I am very dedicated to any project I start, and I am quick to learn new things. If I could be a student for the rest of my life, I would choose that.
I write almost every day, whether for personal enjoyment or scholarly reasons. In college, I have taken both screenwriting classes and upper-division film classes, where we primarily focus on analysis and critique.
"Intuition is the key to everything, in painting, filmmaking, business - everything. I think you could have an intellectual ability, but if you can sharpen your intuition, which they say is emotion and intellect joining together, then a knowingness occurs."
